Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

Anet Julius is the Director of Professional Practice at University Health Network (UHN), where she leads professional practice at the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre (PM), the Benign Hematology Program, Genetics, and the MAiD program. Anet holds an adjunct Lecturer appointment with Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto. She is the co-founder of Canada’s first Oncology Nursing Research Centre of Excellence (ONRCE), established in 2022.

Passionate about advancing nursing excellence, Anet is committed to fostering a culture of inquiry and innovation among clinical nurses at PM—spanning point-of-care providers, advanced practice nurses, and doctoral-prepared nurse scholars.

Anet has been involved in and has led various initiatives to improve patient care, patient safety and nursing practice at PM and across UHN. Anet has also been a frequent lecturer for UHN - Princess Margaret’s International program teaching the Specialized Oncology Nursing Curriculum in Kuwait and Qatar and an executive committee member of the PM Global cancer program. Anet is currently collaborating with nursing leaders in Nepal and Hong Kong to establish joint educational program to facilitate specialized oncology nursing training for nurses in these countries.
